Kirstie was the pillar of relaxation, and radiance on her wedding day. When I arrived she was with her amazing gals at the venue Windows on the Bay, in Bellingham Wa. Though I later found out there were some very interesting events in the morning before we arrived, she was sitting in hair and make up, simply glowing with excitement. We knew this day would be beyond special!
Something that really made this day unique were all the small details. Kirstie went with the traditional "something old , something new, something borrowed, something blue, and a silver sixpense in her shoe". Her accessories really told her story and we loved documenting them all.
When it came time for first looks these two were beyond ready to see each other! They were both eager for the big reveal and we made sure to sneak them away for a more private first look reveal. This allows our Bride and Groom to enjoy this tender moment in privacy and really take in all the emotions that have been building up during the wedding process. We stood back and the magic happened all on it's own.
Tessa and I moved on to Bridal Party and Couples photos, and we were beyond excited that this group was up to try some fun ideas ( like walking down the middle of the road in the middle of the day) !
One thing that really stood out was her beautiful bouquet by Blush Blossom Floral! We just loved the romantic floral design, it looked gorgeous in photos!
Throughout the evening these two shared in many laughs, some tears (especially through first dances) and moments that can only be described as joyous. It was such an honor to be present on this day of love, and to be photographing these memories for them!
Congratulations Kirstie & Jason!
